WHO Collaboratin Centres

World Health Organization is one of the Specialized Agencies of the United Nations established in 1948 for international cooperation for hygiene improvement, the destruction of the epidemic and exchange of the biostatistics.

In addition, the WHO has increasingly shifted its focus from physical health problems to mental health problems in recent years.

According to the latest WHO reports, millions of people around the world currently suffer from mental disorders, and, in a 2004 survey, mental disorders accounted for 13% of all diseases worldwide and almost all of those who have mental disorders have died young by accompanied diosorders.

Our department was officially designated as a "WHO Collaborating Center for Research in Functinal Psychoses" by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1979 (renamed "WHO Collaborating Center for Research and Training in Mental Health" in 1989).

We dissminate information actively in order to meet various needs both domesically and internationally.
And open the way for international collaborative investigation.
